Rental Terms
"The driver" and "the renter" refer to the person renting the car. "The car" and "car" refer to the vehicle rented by the driver. "The company" refers to RMRCAL, LLC. The terms here in are not exact and may be out of date. When you pick the car up you will need to bring a copy of your drivers license, insurance policy, and a valid credit card. You will sign a copy of the terms at that time as well. Be sure to read those terms as they may vary slightly from these. Depending on the vehicle rented there will be additional terms specific to the vehicle.
- The rental price is for a single driver. The driver whose name is used on the rental agreement is the only person allowed to drive the car. Additional drivers may be added for an additional $100.00 per driver.
- If multiple drivers are paid for, all drivers must agree to and abide by these all of these terms.
- The renter may not rent or sublease the car to anyone else.
- All drivers must be twenty-five (25) years or older.
- All drivers must have a valid drivers license.
- All drivers must have valid insurance that covers them while driving a rental car.
- The driver must not have any major moving violations or accidents on their record in the last year.
- The car may only be driven two-hundred (200) miles a day (if you rent the car for seven (7) days then a total of one-thousand and four-hundred (1400) miles can be put on the car spread across the seven (7) days). All miles beyond the maximum allowed will be accessed a $1 per mile fee in addition to the rental price.
- A day rental consists of a single twenty-four (24) hour period.
- The car may not be driven outside of California
- The car may be driven on a race track, dirt roads or off roads.
- The car shall be raced.
- The renter is responsible for all traffic and parking violations incurred during the rental period. Any such tickets that require any administrative work by the company will result in an additional $50 fee for processing.
- 14. If the car becomes not drivable for any reason while in the renter's possession the company will not refund the renter's money. The company will not be held liable for any damages, fees or hardships incurred by renter due to the car becoming not drivable
- The driver and all of their passengers recognize that driving and riding in the car are inherently dangerous activities and thus the driver and any passengers waive all rights to sue the company for any physical or emotional injury incurred while driving the car.
- The driver is responsible for all gas. The car will have a full tank of gas when the driver takes possession of the car and it must have a full tank when returned. If the car doesn't have a full tank of gas upon return, the driver will be charged $5 per gallon to fill the tank.
- No eating or drinking anything other than water in the car. No pets in the car. No smoking in the car.
- Lost keys will be replaced at the driver's expense.
- The renter must leave a damage deposit in the form of a credit card authorization. Any damage found on the vehicle upon return will be billed against this authorization. Damage deposits will vary depending on vehicle and the rental period.
- The company is not liable for any lost or stolen personal property.
- The rental agreement is only valid for one (1) year from the day the company receives payment for the rental from the renter. If the renter does not schedule dates for rental prior to the one year expiration, the renter will not be refunded their rental payment.
- The company has the right to refuse service to anyone.
Additional Terms for Introductory Offers
All cars with a promotion type of "Intro" are subject to these additional rules and agreements.
- The offer will only be upheld if enough people sign up and pay for the introductory rental. If not enough people sign up and pay, then all renters who have signed up and paid will be refunded 100% of the introductory price paid for the rental.
- The number of people required to sign up depends on the particular car and the number of days each person signs up. See the car details for information on a specific car.
- The year specified on the car is not exact. But the company guarantees the car will be no more than two (2) years older than the year listed. The model and make are exact. Example: if the introductory car is listed as 2009 then the actual rented car will be anywhere from 2007 to the current year model.
- Images and pictures of the introductory car are not the actual car. The color and options may vary.
